Project 7: Redbubble Design for a Product
Bubbles
For this project, we made designs for if they were going onto real merchandise. I made a couple little designs, one with colorful "bubbles" and another with a little Peacock Chibi thing (I was really wanting to do something with a peacock, I don't know why). I've taken screenshots of what the images would look like if they were made into their designated products.
The "Bubbles" design was more of a simple design that can really work on anything and is good for covering an entire surface. All I did was make different types of "bubbles" by tapping once with the paintbrush and changing the opacity of the layers. I added a "blur" filter to the image so the shapes would blend together. What I found fun was no only can it turn into a notebook/sketchbook cover and a tablet case, but it could also turn into a miniskirt (far right). This design was originally for a background for some kind of character, but I thought it looked fine by itself. The "Peacock Chibi" was, like I've mentioned, something to do with peacocks. I wanted to draw something with the tablet that I had, so this isn't as flawless, but it's still kinda cute. I traced in Illustrator a peacock feather and copied and pasted the feathers together to make a tail. Tools I Used: Photoshop
